Courgette fries

500ml milk
500g courgettes
2tbsp za'atar
300g flour
Rapeseed oil
  • Pour the milk into a bowl
  • Chop the courgettes into batons and soak in the milk for an hour
  • Put the flour and za'atar onto a plate
  • Take the courgettes out of the milk and coat with the flour and za'atar
  • Heat about 3-4mm of rapeseed oil in a large frying pan
  • Fry the courgettes batons for a few minutes on each side
