Crispy Parsnip Fritters
Cut parsnips into ¼ inch slices or other equal size chunks. Cook in boiling water until just soft. Mix some flour and salt together. Break an egg into it, then add some milk to make a smooth batter. Coat the parsnip pieces with some flour and then dip them in the batter, and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
